The 2016 Ludhiana CMC Alumni Reunion in Denver, Colorado
The 2016 Ludhiana Christian Medical College Alumni Reunion brought together graduates, friends, and families in the beautiful setting of Denver, Colorado. The gathering combined the majesty of the mountains with high-quality continuing medical education, good food, and joyful fellowship.
From scenic hikes at Loveland Pass to gondola rides in Keystone, attendees enjoyed time together outdoors while reminiscing about their days at CMC. For some, it was their very first reunion, while others had been part of the tradition since the first gathering in 1982.
The weekend also featured engaging medical presentations on topics such as emerging technologies in diabetes, advances in cancer treatment, imaging techniques, and public health challenges. Alumni shared stories, memories, and updates, with moments of reflection honoring those who had passed since the last reunion.
The business meeting included updates on the history and mission of the CMC US Board, along with fundraising initiatives to support new medical equipment and programs in Ludhiana. Generous donations were pledged for projects including a brachytherapy unit, urology advancements, and an eye bank endowment.
The event concluded with a banquet filled with songs, stories, and heartfelt memories. As alumni bid farewell, the excitement carried forward to the next reunion, planned for Florida.
