Dr. Harish Anand

Dr. Anand’s pediatric residency was followed by a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at Tulane Medical center in New Orleans. Served as Assistant Professor at Tulane Medical School in the Department of Pediatrics for 4 years. He is now in private practice of Pediatric and Neonatology.

Dr. Parvesh Bansal

Dr. Bansal, since July, 1987 has been in private practice in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and is an attending physician at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care medicine.


Dr. Gurpal Bhuller

Retired orthopedic surgeon Dr. Bhuller served the Richmond, VA area. His charitable work spans the US, Malaysia, and India, including eye camps in Punjab. He is the current Board President.

Dr. Mariam Chacko

Dr. Mariam Chacko, a CMC alumnus, trained in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins. After a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine, she served on faculty in MD and TX. She is now Professor Emeritus at Baylor.


Dr. Ruth Yoder Dyal

An Ob/Gyn specialist, Dr. Dyal was a department chief and associate professor at USF. She served on numerous medical missions worldwide and now serves on the board’s scholarship committee.

Ms. Mary Feierabend Girard

Daughter of CMC’s plastic surgery founder, Dr. Theodore Feierabend, Mary Girard worked for non-profits. In retirement, she writes about her four generations of missionary ancestors who served in India.

Dr. Thomas Joseph

Dr. Thomas Joseph is an orthopedic surgeon, currently working at Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas. In addition, Dr. Joseph has an MBA from the University of Tennessee and is a Founding Board member and Fellow of the American Board of Administrative Medicine.

Dr. Sewa Singh Legha

Dr. Legha trained in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and then specialized  in Medical Oncology. He is a former Professor of Cancer Medicine and spent the majority of his academic career at the University of Texas Cancer Center in Houston. He is retired and spends his free time volunteering in community education about the diagnosis and treatment of Cancer. He is past president of the US Board.


Dr. Gaurav Malhotra

Cherry Mathew

Dr. Mathew, a board-certified neurologist and sleep specialist, has served the Lufkin, Texas community for more than 45 years. He played a key role in establishing the acute Stroke program in Deep East Texas. Although now retired from active clinical practice, he continues to support area hospitals as a neurology consultant.


Dr. Brian Oommen

A neurologist and epilepsy specialist, Dr. Brian Oommen earned his MD from Case Western Reserve. He is a graduate of Woodstock School in India and serves as the Board’s Treasurer.

Dr. Elizabeth Paul

A CMC graduate, Dr. Paul trained at UCLA in Neurological Rehab and Brain Injury. She was an associate medical director at St Mary Medical Center and directed a brain injury program. She is a past Board President.


Rev. Dr. Thomas Salsgiver

Rev. Dr. Salsgiver is a United Methodist Clergy serving as Assistant to the Bishop in the Susquehanna Conference. He has served as a director and superintendent, and as the Board’s President and Treasurer.


Mrs. Susan Sarin

Ms. Sarin qualified as a Radiographer from the University of Manchester in 1964. She married Dr. Chaman Lal Sarin, a graduate of CMCL in the Pioneer Batch. When he passed away in 1994, she took over running the Medicaid-only HMO he had started in the Detroit area. She serves as the Vice President of the Board.


Dr. Mathew Roy Thomas

Dr. Roy Thomas, a 1967 CMC graduate, also did his post-graduate training and served as a lecturer at CMC. After a fellowship in Colorado, he practiced Hematology and Oncology until retiring in 2013.

Cate Whitcomb, PhD

Serving as Executive Director since 2019, Dr. Whitcomb is a Woodstock School grad with a PhD from the University of Iowa. She has held administrative roles at various universities and other non-profits for over 40 years and also worked in India, where she grew up.

Dr. Feroze Yusufji

Dr. Yusufji received his M.S in orthopedics from CMC Ludhiana in 1967. He then moved to the USA for his residency and established an orthopedic surgical practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
