Over the years, with the increasing patient load and aging infrastructure, an urgent need to upgrade Out-Patient Orthopedics Department at CMC Ludhiana. This would enhance accessibility and ensure a safe and efficient space for both patients and healthcare providers.
The proposed renovation addressed these concerns and significantly improved the quality of outpatient orthopedic services. The funding for the project was provided by Dr. Thomas Joseph, alumni batch of 1974, in memory of Dr. Lobo, amounting to ~$94,000.
On June 16th, 2026, the renovated wing was opened with an inaugural ceremony.
