The Ludhiana Christian Medical College Alumni Association of North America gathered in Los Angeles in 2014 for a joyful reunion filled with fellowship, learning, and celebration. Alumni traveled from across the United States, Canada, and even Australia, making it a truly international gathering.
The event, organized by Drs. Elizabeth and Joy Paul, began with warm welcomes, shared meals, and time to relax at the resort. Attendees enjoyed activities ranging from yoga to golf, while breakfast and lunch provided opportunities to reconnect and reminisce about CMC days.
Highlights included a lively talent show, captivating performances from the musical group Maya, and lectures by medical specialists offering the latest insights in their fields. The business meeting, led by Dr. Elizabeth Paul, reviewed accomplishments and elected new leadership, with Dr. Arun Adlakka stepping in as president to share his vision for the future.
Saturday’s gala evening featured the lighting of a traditional oil lamp, speeches, and recognition of Dr. Sardith Gill (Batch of 1953) with a lifetime membership for his dedicated service. The night concluded with vibrant performances by Dipali Singh and Vishal Vege, bringing everyone to the dance floor.
On Sunday, alumni gathered for a moving memorial service honoring those who had passed, lighting candles and sharing heartfelt memories. The weekend closed with renewed friendships and a commitment to meet again at the next reunion in Cleveland, Ohio.
