The College of Nursing grounds, hostel and administrative areas have been in urgent need of upkeep and repairs for several years. Unfortunately, the hospital itself and the College have no designated budget for repair and upkeep of the building and grounds. The Board raised funds specifically for the College of Nursing to make the needed repairs in 2021 and there is still $7,000 remaining of what was raised.
After the initial renovations were completed, the Nursing College was tasked with developing a plan to fund the yearly maintenance of the buildings and grounds. The mechanism of this plan will be left to the College, either by an additional fee added to student fees or through other fund raising.

Block – A – Done in 2021
In 2025, the College of Nursing moved forward with the increase of seats to 100 per year for the GNM and BSc(N) courses, and the renovation of two classrooms and the Nursing Foundation Laboratory, including the procurement of essential training equipment such as Manikins. These upgrades will ensure high-quality education and training for nursing students at CMCHL aligning with current academic and clinical standards. The Board has agreed to pay 90% of the required amount, whcih equates to ~35,000. The remainder is to be raised by CMC.
