Dental College CBCT X-Ray Scanner

The image shows the red-brick exterior of Christian Dental College in Ludhiana, with arched doorways and windows, a sign above the entrance, and a garden with flowers and a cactus in the foreground.

The College of Dentistry raised funds to purchase a CBCT X-ray machine, as it has become an essential diagnostic tool. They had been forced to refer 2-5 patients daily outside for this diagnostic process. They negotiated a good deal in exchange of the old x-ray machine with a CBCT machine, and the cost of the machine after exchange was ~$34,000. The institution made a purchase order by paying an advance of ~$1,200, and the dental alumni and Friends of Ludhiana UK raised ~$26,000. The US Board was able to support the purchase with the $6,500 remaining.

Two men stand in a tiled room beside a dental X-ray machine. One man wears a suit, the other a checkered shirt with a vest. A desk with a computer and posters on the wall are also visible.
