Fellowship room for Chaplains

A framed painting on a beige wall depicts two hands breaking bread above a chalice, symbolizing the Christian Eucharist, with a reddish-brown background.

Description of Fellowship Room:

  1. CMCL, Ludhiana has a staff of 25 individuals who provide spiritual and emotional comfort to all patients in the hospital.
  2. The Fellowship staff personnel visit each patient daily however there are family members and friends who come to the hospital who also need support as they have a loved one receiving care.
  3. A room was identified that could be a place where those, either family, friends or ambulatory patients themselves, could stop and speak with a Fellowship staff member.
  4. The room should be well furnished and provide an atmosphere that is conducive to speaking privately.  There should be an adjoining toilet.
  5. Drs. Mathew Roy Thomas and Elizabeth Sheela Thomas have donated $1,200 (approximately Rs. 97,200) to be deposited in the Fellowship Account with the Board for the purpose of renovating and furnishing the Fellowship room.
